----- Pennsylvania ---------------

In March I went up to New Jersey to visit my sister and her family. Although in NJ most of the time, we went to Philadelphia for a day. That is where I took a majority of my pictures. In Philly we went to Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the Philadelphia Art Museum where Rocky ran up the stairs and El Vez an awesome Mexican fusion restaurant.

It was a cold, cloudy day in Philly but it was interesting seeing famous historical landmarks such as Independence hall and the Liberty Bell. This was my second trip to Phili. I returned more or less to go back to El Vez and eat. The food there is outstanding! The best guacamole that I have ever eaten was at this restaurant.

An interesting piece of info that I picked up in Philly was that ever since a building surpassed in height the Benjamin Franklin statue as seen below no sports team had ever won a major championship. So superstitious was the city that they made a Ben Franklin statue and put it on the highest skyscraper in downtown with 24 hour surveillance. Since they had erected this statue very recently, the supposed curse was lifted and Philly has won at least one major championship.
