----- Mykonos, Greece ---------------

Mykonos was my first stop in Greece, and is actually a cool little island. Mykonos is very barren and rocky. There are like hardly any trees, but many cool coves and small beaches. The island is pretty small and one can easily cross the island on a moped in a short time.

When in Mykonos we visited Mykonos town, its waterfront and the famous windmills. The whitewashed buildings contrasting with the barren brown rocky slopes are quite beautiful. When on the island we went swimming at paradise beach although the water was a little cold. This was the first time my friend Tomas had seen a topless beach, so it was a little surprising for him. After leaving this area we headed to the north side of the island to Agios Sostis bay and hung out in an area with hardly any tourists. We explored this little abandoned cave home which was pretty cool. Other then that, Mykonos was nice to visit. I don't know if I will come back as there is very little to do and islands like Santorini and Corfu were much prettier and had much more to see and do.
