----- Malaga, Spain ---------------

Malaga is a very modern city for Spain. Malaga reminded me of Miami Beach, but with old Palaces and ruins. The beaches were nice and warm with golden sand and beautiful cool water of the Mediterranean. Beautiful women are everywhere walking along the beaches or working on that perfect tan. Looking down the beach all one sees are high-rise condos and restaurants like one would find in Miami Beach. Located up on the mountains was an old palace that was interesting looking that we did not have time to visit. We enjoyed lunch in Malaga talking with a guy from Ireland and a couple from Sweden. After lunch we left for Nerja, a resort area about 30 miles up the coast. We tried to visit the Nerja caves but were too late as they were closed. Nerja was a cool looking town with whitewashed buildings against a blue sea and large mountains to its back. Besides just hanging out or hiking in the mountains, we did not see much to do here.

Màlaga reminded me of Miami Beach.
