California, my favorite state. Even though I don't live there anymore, I will always call it home since I grew up there. Yes, California has its downsides like cost of living, traffic, earthquakes, hippies, etc, but there are more positive notes then negative. Nothing beats California for temperate weather consisting of sunny days and nice cool evenings, awesome food, variety of activities from camping to wakeboarding to sightseeing, and many places to go within in a few hours drive.
Since I did grow up there, I have many friends I like to come back and visit. After not having visited in over 3 years, I realized how much I had missed my friends there and how much had changed. At least with this visit I could catch up on many things.
Although I have been literally all over the state, my pictures here are pretty much of San Francisco, Napa Valley and Sonoma County. Some of my other favorite places include Lake Tahoe, Santa Barbara, Yosemite, and Lake Oroville my favorite place to camp. If you ever get the chance to visit, I recommend just visiting a few places and really enjoying those areas.
